夏ですね。もうすぐ七月も終わります。日本の夏はジメジメしている場所が多いですが、皆さんの国の七月はどのような感じですか。
さて、この前約3年ぶりに会った友達と「アートバー」というところに行ってきました。このアートバーでは、飲み物を飲んだりお菓子を食べたりしながら絵を描くことができます。フレンドリーで優しいアートの先生の説明のお話を聞きながら、私はワインを片手に、人生初の”キャンバスに絵を描く”という体験をしました！
私は絵が全然得意ではないですが、このアートセッションは本当に楽しくて、自由に色を組み合わせたり筆の使い方を考えながら描いてみたり、すごく良い時間になりました。何より、お酒を飲みながら、そして周りの人たちとおしゃべりしながら絵を描くという今まで経験したことのない新しい休日の楽しみ方を知ることができたと思います。誘ってくれた友達に感謝です。
これからも積極的に色々なことをやってみようと思います！
It’s summer! July will soon be over. Summer in Japan is hot and humid in many places, but what is July like in your country?
The other day, I went to a place called ‘Art Bar’ with a friend I hadn’t seen in about three years. At this art bar, you can enjoy painting while having a drink and some snacks. I had a glass of wine and experienced painting on canvas for the first time in my life, while listening to the friendly and helpful art teacher explain the process!
I’m not a good painter at all, but I really enjoyed this art session and had a great time combining colours and thinking about how to use the brush. Above all, I think I learnt a new way to enjoy my day off that I had never experienced before – painting while drinking and chatting with the people around me! I am grateful to my friend for inviting me.
I’m going to keep actively trying different things from now on!
