Today’s phrase is “Can I get the bill, please?” which you can use in a restaurant, izakaya, or bar, when you want to ask for a bill.

It depends on the place, but often you pay at the table, or you receive a bill and you bring it to the casher to pay.

会計かいけい、おねがいします。
/okaikei onegai shimasu/

お is to make the sentence polite, and 会計 means check or bill. お願いします means please.
