Japanese Study Support is a personal support service for Japanese learners who want a little extra guidance on their learning journey.
Whether you need clarification on a difficult grammar point, help understanding a textbook passage, or a second opinion on an AI-generated explanation, you can ask me directly.
Get unstuck, understand Japanese better, and get back to studying with confidence.
What can I help you with?
You can contact me whenever you need a little help with your Japanese studies. Here are some examples of questions I can help you with:
- Grammar: Understand confusing grammar points, compare similar expressions, and learn how they are used in real contexts.
- Vocabulary: Clarify the meaning, nuance, and natural usage of Japanese words and expressions.
- Reading comprehension: Get help understanding difficult sentences, passages, and textbook exercises.
- AI-generated explanations: Have a Japanese teacher check an explanation you’ve received from AI and clarify anything that seems inaccurate or confusing.
- Natural Japanese: Check whether an expression sounds natural and learn how a native speaker would say it.
How does the membership work?
A simple monthly membership gives you direct access to personal Japanese study support whenever you need a little extra help.
Membership: $20 per month
Your membership includes:
- 10 text questions per month: Send me questions about Japanese grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, or other aspects of your studies.
- 4 voice or video calls, up to 10 minutes each: Get personal help with Japanese grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and other questions via Google Meet (camera on or off).
You can request a call whenever my status shows that I’m available. Calls are subject to my availability and confirmation.
Available hours (Japan Time)
- Monday–Friday, 10:00–16:00: Text questions and voice/video calls.
- Monday–Friday, 21:30–23:00: Text questions only. Calls are not available during this period.
These are my usual support hours. My availability may vary, so please check my current status before requesting a call. Text questions can be sent during the hours listed above.
