Adjective modification: E.g. 楽しいです→楽しかったです 静かです→静かでした

I didn’t do anything in particular.
いつも通り、朝早く起きました。
/itsumo doori hayaku okimashita/
I got up early in the morning as usual.
近所のカフェに行きました。
/kinjo no kafe ni ikimashita/
I went to a cafe in my neihbourhood.
友達と映画を観に行きました。
/tomodachi to mega o mi ni ikimashita/
I went to watch a film with my friend.
The verb stem of MASU-form + に + 行く (To go somewhere to do ~) E.g. 観に行く 食べに行く 聴きに行く
レストランで食事をしました。
/resutoran de shokuji o shimashita/
I had a meal in the restaurant.
一日中、ずっと寝ていました。
/ichinichijuu zutto neteimashita/
I slept all day long.
*Past tense continuous
パンを作りました。
/pan o tsukurimashita/
I made bread.
散歩に行きました。
/sanpo ni ikimashita/
I went for a walk.

/heya no sooji o shite sentaku o shimashita/

/tomodachi to eega o mi ni itte resutoran de shokuji o shimashita/
I went to see a film and had a meal in the restaurant.
