Structure

Verb て-form + しまう

Notes

In casual speech, you can say て + 〜ちゃう／じゃう.

Example sentences

A: その傷きず、どうしたの？　B: 昨日きのう階段かいだんで転ころんじゃったんだ。

A: What happened with that scar?
B: I fell on the stairs by accident yesterday.

間違まちがえて塩しおではなく砂糖さとうを入いれてしまった。
