日本にほんには毎年まいとし、6〜7月がつに梅雨つゆと呼よばれる雨あめの季節きせつがあります。雨あめの日ひが続つづいてジメジメした天気てんきで、気分きぶんが晴はれない季節きせつではありますが、綺麗きれいな紫陽花あじさいが咲さく時期じきでもあります。紫陽花あじさいは、晴はれている時ときよりも雨あめに濡ぬれている時ときの方ほうが美うつくしいですよね。

雨あめが________降ふっています。/ame ga _______ futte imasu/ 

ぽつぽつ /potsu-potsu/ Drops of rain, usually used when it has just started raining.

ぱらぱら /para-para/ Drops of rain, like potsu-potsu, this is also often used when it has just started raining, but slightly in bigger drops. Resembles the sound of rain hitting an umbrella, roof, etc.

しとしと /shito-shito/ Continuous, quiet, light rain. Drizzling.
